Why Midpoint

Why Use Midpoint?
Midpoint arose from the belief that workflow automation can be simpler. Despite the promise of AI, we still have people in 2025 spending hours to build a simple workflow automation. The UI cannot be dragging and dropping nodes onto a canvas. The UI cannot be hiring then interacting with workflow automation experts that drag the process of building out a workflow into weeks. Anybody who has gone through the process of building a workflow automation or an agent comes to this conclusion pretty quickly. Surely there is a better way.
Midpoint was built to solve this problem. For your daily tasks, whether it is managing an immense amount of data transfer across spreadsheets and applications, entering information into HubSpot, or developing a website, there are often tasks that require "connecting" to something that exists on the internet or exists internally for your company. This is, after all, what the internet is: you are either getting data from somebody hosting that data to make it accessible, or posting data to a database to make it accessible for yourself or somebody else later on. The demand for AI made this problem more acute: if you want to connect anything to an ai model to make it smarter, you now have to build data plumbing to make this a reality, often times, in a technical or "low-code" fashion. Creating prototypes takes hours, creating production grade deployments takes weeks.
The name Midpoint comes from the mathematical term "Midpoint". We serve as the Midpoint between any application and anything you want to build.
- Want to send an email/send a slack message/update your database when somebody inputs a form on your website? No need to build your own SMTP server or go through a slack app approval process: it's a couple minutes away from being integrated on your website.
- Want to classify your travel promotional emails into tags every day? Better yet, want to chat with your email in natural language? It's a couple of minutes away.
- Want to use AI to generate a lead list of relevant people to contact based on just a list of companies you have in a spreadsheet? It's a couple of minutes away.
- Want to generate an ai video with sora 2, use an ai model to determine what the best generated variant is, then upload that video to tiktok, once a day? It's a couple of minutes away.
Midpoints are surprisingly easy to build. You're not trying to figure out what nodes to drag and drop, struggling to manage authentication, running into errors. You just chat with natural language, and see it built before you. Want to change something? Just describe the change. Something is not working? Give the error and watch it get fixed. Most Midpoints are deployed within just 3 messages.
Midpoint hopes to enable everybody to build personalized automations. There is a big gap between generalized and specialized automations. More likely than not, no existing, pre-built automation exists for the specific thing that you want to do. That means you're not left with many good options: until Midpoint.
As our Midpoint orchestration becomes more powerful, you will be able to build more complicated workflows. Today Midpoint is capable of being coherent and mapping together ~50 nodes. We trained our agent to deliver a fully tested workflow, and research online for any documentation, so you're not running into errors once it is built.
We're also releasing the Midpoint Market. For more generalized automations, there is no need for you to
- figure out what to build and
- build a production grade Midpoint.
You can just find a pre-built Midpoint, connect your authentication, and click a button to deploy. If it doesn't exist, you can make a Midpoint, publish it, and get paid whenever somebody uses it.
Midpoint is secure. Every execution runs on your own, dedicated compute, isolated from the rest of the internet. Midpoint has passed penetration tests, and is CASA Tier 3 secure. All of your credentials are encrypted in a way where even the Midpoint Team cannot decrypt them.
Midpoint is being used in production across varying company sizes, from Fortune 500 to Unicorns to two-people startups. We're excited to see what you build!
